Some of the worlds best Sports and Nutrition Scientists agree that the consumption of meat and seafood that have been treated with different forms of additives including deadly Carbon Monoxide Gas may be harmful to your health.
Long and short term consumption of some foods with certain additives may cause cancer, blood disorders and other forms of illness both physical and mental. The consumption of some food with certain additives have created new and reemerging awareness of food born illnesses.
A breakdown of Public Health measures due to people changing eathing habits, technology, new products and lack of education of physicaians has created a need to better understand and further evaluation of food born illness. There are too many food additives that are suspectied of causing many illnesses, especially among the very young, the elderly and the immune compromised most of these illnesses are miss diagnosed.
We are familiar with typhoid, cholera and now anthrax. Six months ago a case of respiratory anthrax may have been miss diagnosed as pneumonia.
TODAY I FEEL MANY CASES OF ILLNESSESS AND EVEN DEATH ARE DUE TO A REACTION FROM FOOD ADDITIVES SUCH AS CARBON MONOXIDE TREATED FISH AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY ARE PROCESSED. These illnesses for the most part are miss diagnosed because of a lack of training by too many doctors.
Recognizing this need for additional medical training, the AMA's House of Delegates at the 1997 Interim Meeting adopted Substitute Resolution 518, which asks our AMA to "work with appropriate federal agencies, medical specialty societies, and public health agencies to educate physicians and the public on measures to prevent food borne illness.
