SUSHI FOOD PRODUCTS MADE WITH GASSED TUNA, THEY FALSELY CALL AHI, A WORD NORMALLY ASSOCIATED WITH A QUALITY PRODUCT OF HAWAII...THE GASS TREATED FISH IS SERVED ABOARD CRUISE SHIPS & RESTAURANTS, IT IS ALSO SOLD IN GROCERY STORES. IT IS FOR THE MOST PART MADE FROM A PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN FROZEN & TREATED WITH DEADLY CARBON MONOXIDE GAS, USED TO PRESERVE AND CREATE A BRIGHT RED COLOR TO GIVE IT A "FALSE" FRESH LOOK. IT IS A PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN IMPORTED FROM THE FAR EAST, SUCH AS THE PHILIPPINES OR MALAYSIA. THE CONSUMPTION OF THESE PRODUCTS MAY CARRY SIGNIFICANT HEALTH RISK...OTHER IMPORTED FISH PRODUCTS THAT ARE ALSO BEING GASSED AND SOLD AS FRESH FISH PRODUCTS ARE TILAPIA, SWORDFISH, MAHI-MAHI, & SHARK. EXAMINE THESE FILES AND DETERMINE FOR YOURSELF IF THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN DOING THEIR JOB ON IMPORTED PRODUCTS.
